The first "Three countries" brevet was in 2010. It was directed counter-clockwise starting from Vyborg and finishing in Peterhof. It reminds a full lunch rigth on the 75 km, excelent roads in Finland, average in Estonia and awful in Russia. Epic overnight under a wolfhound guard at Ust-Narva, border-control fee on the Russian side, excelent support all the way.
The second brevet was in 2013. It went through Pushkinskie Gory and Izborsk and slightly differed from the first route. There was no support after Izborsk, awful weather with the raining and front wind all the time. Add 15 km of sandy unpaved road under construction after the Estonian border. The booked cottage denied to accept riders at 5 A.M. leaving them outdoor.
Participation fee: depends on count of riders registered but less than 120 euro including 2 control points and the finish at campings.
How to get to the start from Saint Petersburg:
Express train "Lastochka" departs at 20:35 from the Moskovsky vokzal, arrives to Veliky Novgorod at 23:59. One should buy a ticket and a luggage ticket in advance. The bike should be in a cover (a film is ok).
How to get to the start from Moscow:
A direct train with a whole day left for an excursion or a daily train with one change in Chudovo.
Controls: two sleeping CP at 455 and 780 km with a support car. Others are on gas stations.
How to get to Helsinki from Tallinn: the brevet salt is a ferry from Tallinn to Helsinki at 655 km. Time spent on the ferry is included in the total time.

In case of riding first 655 km faster than 30 hours, please, contact organizers for an individual start time.
How to return back to Russia from the finish: a morning bus from Lappeenranta will be arranged. Otherwise there is a day walking in Finland and a trip to Vyborg (70 km) with a direct train to Saint Petersburg.
