Regarding the postponement of VOL-2020 on 10th of August

 Taking into account the current epidemiological situation organizing committee decided to postpone the event on 10th of August. We are aware that postponement is not comfortable for many but this is the only chance to keep full event in this year.

 

Changing of payment terms for participants

Cost will not depend on the date of registration. Total cost of participation for foreigners is 130 EUR.

Is the 10th of August final date?

Unfortunatelly nobody can forecast the situation, probability of event  cancellation still remains in 2020.

 

Will borders be opened by the 10th of August for foreign participants?

We really do hope so. If this does not happen, then we undertake to arrange 1200 km in 2021 (along the same route or  on the route Russia-Finland).

 

Have to forget about White Nights?

Yes, unfortunatelly there will be no White Nights on August. Night time in August lasts 5 hours however this is not full dark night but rather dark twilight.

 

Coud it be rainy and cold?

It is really more rains in August than in July. But we remember both continuous rains in July and heat in August. We will give recommendations on equipment closer to the start time.

July 8 : max. + 27C; average +16.9C ; minimum +10.5C

August 12: max. + 23C; average +17.8C; minimum +11C

The deadline for applying is not determined yet. The cost will be refunded less commission.
